Submission Procedure for Regular Articles

In addition to single-case research, IJIS will consider submissions related to the topics outlined on this page or in the periodic calls for papers. Submissions unrelated to the principal aims of the journal will not be considered (e.g., research that is not based on single cases). In this rubric, IJIS publishes the commentaries of practitioners - what they expect from idiographic science for the benefit of their practice
New Techniques


The contemporary social sciences have developed a number of quantitative and qualitative techniques that are usable in idiographic science. Included in this rubric are practice-oriented exposes of these techniques. Among these would be:
  • Historically structured sampling
  • Growth curve analysis
  • Neural network modeling
  • Time-series analysis techniques
History


We will re-publish a number of key cases that have been relevant in the history of psychology, with new commentaries.
